0800 Pick up by car from Kanchanaburi town, Then proceed to Chaloem Rattanakosin National Park.

0915 Upon arrival, trek into the evergreen forest to the lower cave (Tham Than Lod Noi) and spend some time to appreciates the cave’s splendid features. Then continue on the non-touristy trail that leads up to the upper cave. Explore the forest ample with fascinating flora and fauna on a 2.5 kilometers trail. The trekking route is suitable for those physically fit as about half of the route is very steep, though wooden steps were installed to ease the walk.

1100 Take a break and enjoy relaxing at the waterfall halfway of the route.

1130 Continue trekking up the upper cave on top of the hill.

1200 Reach the open cave and ultimately enjoy the tranquility of its surroundings. Famous for its stone arch, the larger upper cave is also regarded as holy ground by the Karen people. Every year the Karen hold an annual ceremony to worship their guardian spirits and ancestors.

Enjoy a peaceful picnic lunch.

1430 Take the a/c van back to Kanchanaburi town
