The 4 hour tour will lead you across the city of Naples through its history and traditions, starting from Piazza Bellini, moving on through Via dei Tribunali, San Gregorio Armeno, Spaccanapoli, Piazza San Domenico, Piazza del Gesu’ and then walking down Via Toledo to conclude at the stunning Piazza del Plebiscito, host to many open-air concerts.

The tour takes you through Via dei Tribunali, a Decumanus Maggiore, a main east-west street of Naples, leading to the historical center. Here you will try the best mozzarella, selection of cheese, cured meat and wine.
The tour continues to taste the well-loved classic Neapolitan favorites of pasta e patate con la provala and authentic ragù, a rich, flavorsome meat sauce. Further excite your tastebuds with a pizza fritta, commonly named as ‘the other Neapolitan pizza’ or ‘pizza of the people’, which is a fried pizza filled with ingredients from mozzarella and ham to sautéed greens.
Here, you can enjoy a mid-afternoon coffee accompanied with a pastry such as sfogliatella or babà at the historical private coffeehouse founded in 1860, Caffè Gambrinus. There are at least 5 food stops during the tour where you will be able to try the best dishes of the Neapolitan cuisine.

Please make sure you arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes early. Naples is a very busy city, please, make sure to arrive on time, leave earlier your accommodation or you may lose the tour due traffic jam. The tour will start at 6pm sharp on time. We strongly suggest you to not reach the city center by car (if so leave very early). If you are coming from the Amalfi Coast make sure to leave very early (more than 2 hours, there are a lot of traffic jam on the way to Naples). It's NOT possible to join the activity once it has started. This is key to ensuring the quality of your experience.
