Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

At 8 am, our experience team will pick you up from your hotel in Huacachina or Ica and take you to the Maria Reiche airfield in the city of Nazca. Our pilot and copilot will take us on an unforgettable 35-minute flight to observe animal, plant, and geometric figures: the monkey, the condor, the hummingbird, the spider, the pelican, the hands, the tree, the astronaut, and the trapezoid. The Nazca Lines are located in an immense desert and were created between the 1st and 7th centuries AD and were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The creation of the Nazca Lines remains a mystery to this day; they could have been an astronomical calendar, places for religious rituals and ceremonies, symbols of their magical and religious world toward the gods, or a system for water management. After our experience, we return to the hotel in Huacachina or Ica.

2

We visited the cemetery of Chauchila, to learn how one of the most mysterious civilizations buried their dead in the desert wrapped in beautiful cloaks with zoofitoantropomorphic designs.

3

We will visit the Maria Reiche Museum and learn about the house where she lived, the materials she used for her research and restoration, the mysterious Nasca figures.
