Join us on a food extravaganza where we will sample a wide variety of our favorite street foods in the locals spots of downtown Athens.
We will meet in Monastiraki and then take a short stroll around the market area and the social life area (Psiri) stopping regularly for tastings and sit down meals of our most loved street foods, all in places frequented by the local community.
We will visit one of the best souvlaki houses and sample their delicous pork or chicken skewers , eat a gyros, sample traditional pies, visit a deli for cured meat and cheeses, Greek coffee or Freddo, calamari and more washed down with Greek licquers such as raki and ouzo or fresh orange juice. Come hungry and ready to eat. Of course we will eat some of our favorite sweets as the Greeks love desert!
Unfortunately this experience is not suitable for gluten free or vegetarian diets but our traditionl food tour is able to accomodate all dietry requirements.
