Then join our 2 hour walking and shopping tour and let us introduce you to the spice, fruit, meat and fish markets and enjoy a Greek coffee made the traditional way from the oldest coffee shop in Athens!
You will have an opportunity to buy herbs, spices, olives, olive oil, natural soap products etc at local prices.
Whilst we do not eat on this tour, you will be introduced to the tavernas and bars where we, like many other Athenians, go to eat and drink! Dont waste time on touristic food when you could go to authentic, traditional places and eat the freshest food in Athens.
This is where the Athenians go to have fun. Locals out enjoying traditional bars and tavernas whilst often listening to live Greek music. Very vibrant and buzzy area.
We will end our tour in the heart of downtown Athens where you can clearly see evidence of the 4 most significant periods of Athenian history.
We will visit the markets of Athens - meat, fish, spices, fruit and vegetables.
