Why Locals Love It: Historic significance and beautiful views
Historical Significance: The ruins are what remains of the mansion of Comte d'Eu, a French prince who was married to Isabel, Princess Imperial of Brazil, and were part of a large estate that included a chapel, farm, and the mansion. The mansion was destroyed in a fire in 1911 and was eventually turned into a public park in 1933.
